The Labour Party

Following a competitive tender exercise, GH Display were proud to be selected as the exhibition stand builder for The Labour Party. Their large exhibition stand space took centre stage at The Labour Party Conference 2023, held in October at the ACC and ECL in Liverpool. The Labour Party team had a clear exhibition stand brief and required their 12 metre x 6 metre space to include an inviting Labour Party shop, an open and bright training area and an engaging information space. High up the agenda of requirements was an exhibition stand that would be designed and built sustainably, with the use of eco-friendly materials and created with as minimal an environmental impact as possible.

We designed the stand to be divided into three distinct visitor spaces; shop, training and information. In addition to these core areas, we also built-in a large walk-in store room. The brand colours were softened using natural timber finishes and live plants. We introduced some high-up branding for the exhibition stand by building a large custom made four sided lightbox header structure that could be seen above the neighbouring stands as you entered the venue hall.

Every component on the exhibition stand came from either our hire stock of exhibition stand structures or was designed and manufactured for future use within our hire range, ensuring that none of the stand would go to landfill after use. All the graphics on the stand were printed on biodegradable media, except for the lightbox graphic that was produced on a 100% recycled media and will be kept for reuse. All production and print of a GH Display custom built exhibition stand is done in our workshop using 100% renewable energy, generated from our 166 solar panels. The Labour Party stand components can be reused, refurbished and reconfigured for years to come, ensuring we minimise waste and provide best value.
