About the Business Design Centre, London
The Business Design Centre (also known as the BDC) is located in the popular London district of Islington. The architecturally impressive building has been opened as an events venue since 1862 when it first opened its doors for agricultural shows. During the second world war the grade II listed building was used as a Royal mail sorting office and then left unused and vacant until it was refurbished and renamed as the Business Design Centre in 1986. Since opening as the Business Design Centre, the London venue has welcomed a variety of events. From conferences, awards and galas, to exhibitions, launches, and fundraisers. The Business Design Centre has earnt its place in the design industry’s affections with some of the most iconic design shows including the London Art Fair, the Surface Design Show and the Workspace Design Show. The BDC welcomes tens of thousands of visitors from both across the country and the globe.

The BDC has fantastic London underground and London bus links. It is also conveniently close to London’s main train line located at Kings Cross St Pancras train station. For those travelling into the UK to visit the BDC, both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports are on a direct train line from Kings Cross train station, with a short 45 minute journey getting you into the heart of the capital For those travelling by car, the BDC has a 250 space on-site car park, with pre booking available to guarantee a space.
