Stamford Rugby Club’s Under 15s have secured their place in the NLD Cup final after a hard-fought semi-final victory against Scunthorpe.

With a 19-8 win, Stamford sealed their spot in the final, where they will face Ashbourne in April at Scunthorpe.

The squad, made up of players from seven different secondary schools, has been in dominant form throughout the competition, remaining undefeated in both the pool and knockout stages. Along the way, they’ve overcome teams from Mansfield, Southwell, Mellish, Market Rasen, and Chesterfield.

The NLD Cup, which features clubs across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and Derbyshire, is contested at all age levels from Under 13s through to seniors.
