GH Display at Event Sustainability Live and Event Tech Live 2024
The GH Display team had an exciting and action-packed couple of days at this year’s Event Sustainability Live and Event Tech Live, held on November 20th and 21st at ExCeL, London. This two-day exhibition and conference brought together event professionals, thought-leaders, and sustainability innovators, all focused on shaping a greener future for the events industry. GH Display proudly showcased its sustainable event solutions on stand G20, sharing its latest eco-conscious trends and innovations, such as the 100% recyclable cardboard eco banner.
The event was open to all, offering delegates the unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge products and services from companies and venues committed to sustainable event practices. At GH Display, we were thrilled to be a part of this important conversation and contribute to the ongoing push for sustainability within the sector, showing visitors how GH Display create sustainable exhibition stands.
A Stand Built with Sustainability in Mind
Our stand was a true reflection of our commitment to sustainability. We designed it with reuse and recycling at its core. Every structure on our stand was carefully reused and refurbished by our talented production team. They used renewable energy from our own solar panels, water-based, non-toxic paints and relied on plenty of elbow grease to give our hire components a second life.
The graphic artwork and overall stand design were also crafted in-house by our team of talented graphic designers and creative exhibition design specialists. And we didn’t stop there: all of the print materials were produced using recycled fabric media made from post-consumer plastic marine waste. It was a fully sustainable creation from start to finish.
Other than our graphics, the only new elements we introduced were two custom-cut GH Display signs, which will be repurposed and displayed in our offices and workshops long after the exhibition ends.
Building Connections and Creating Impact
Our team was incredibly proud of our presence at this ground-breaking event. It was fantastic to meet both existing and potential customers, sharing ideas and solutions that align with our values of creating more sustainable, eco-friendly events. We were inspired by the many conversations we had, and we look forward to continuing to work alongside like-minded professionals in the industry to drive sustainability forward.
At GH Display, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword — it’s embedded in everything we do. We’re already looking forward to next year and can’t wait to share even more innovative solutions with our clients and partners.
